How Does it Work?

You’re used to the normal design process – now try it at 10x the speed. The added benefit is NO CODE. JUST DESIGN!

1. Understand the Problem

Pick a prompt from one of our tracks: classic, enterprise, city, or food. Each prompt gives you some info, but you’re encouraged to research the problem yourself!

2. Ideate & Sketch Solutions

Once you’ve got a grasp on the problem, sketch out your ideas. Create affinity diagrams, do some card sorting, draw up some mockups – keep iterating, whichever way works best for you!

3. Race to realize it digitally

After you’ve nailed your sketches, bring it up to high-fidelity. Use a prototyping tool like Figma or Sketch or Webflow to convert those drawings into something beautiful and interactive.

4. Submit & Win Prizes!

Submit your prototype and our esteemed judges will judge your work. You might just win a prize!

The Tracks

Select a prompt from any one of the following tracks. The prompts will be released for each track on the day of the event.

Classic Track

Get a chance to focus on crafting a new experience. This could be a feature in an app, a redesigned website, or an entirely new platform!

Enterprise Track

Design for business! This track focuses on empowering large corporations with the tools they need for daily operations, analytics, and business intelligence.

Food Track

Your gateway to rethinking how people discover, access, and share food in today's world. This track invites you to explore how UX can impact something as essential—and unequal—as the way we eat.

City Track

Your gateway to designing smarter, more human-centered urban experiences—from navigation and public transport to safety, accessibility, and community engagement.

The Judges

Get an opportunity to get feedback from the best and brightest designers in UX!
